Olympic Flight Program

February 9 - February 28, 2010

The Vancouver Olympic games have been dedicated to Nodar Kumaritashvili
who died during luge training on February 13, 2010.
He was 21 years old.

Global International is now providing commercial service to and from Vancouver B.C. for the purpose of supporting the 2010 Olympics. Participants may download and install the following aircraft:

Global International Boeing 787/8 Dreamliner

These two aircraft carry the markings for the MMX Olympics and are now in service.

Now Open:
Flights are now in progress using both Olympic aircraft and all flights earn double hours for flight time or as we say at Global .. X2 credit. There are no limits to the number of flights you make for X2 credit providing they use the above aircraft, the Olympic Schedule and of course that you are certified in these aircraft type.

Notice: When making requests and reports, make sure to include the OL# from the schedule and the word "Olympics" in the comments section to receive X2 credit.

Feb 28th:
This is the last day for X2 credit and use of the Olympic aircraft.

March 1:
Both aircraft will have their Olympic logos removed and placed into standard service. You may still use the Olympic schedule for 7 days then it will be removed but remember that this is for X1 hours credit.

March 8:
The Boeing 737/800 will resume standard Global Express service and the B787/8 will begin standard service throughout the world using the following schedule:
